The East Side Adult Education Program offers over 45 ESL classes at different sites, including the 2 main campuses:  Independence Adult Center (IAC) & Overfelt Adult Center (OAC).

 
We offer six levels of instruction:
    1. Level 1:  Beginning Literacy
    2. Level 2:  Beginning Low
    3. Level 3:  Beginning High
    4. Level 4:  Intermediate Low
    5. Level 5:  Intermediate High
    6. Level 6:  Advanced Low
 
In these classes, students will learn and improve their reading, writing, listening, and speaking skills, and they will also have the opportunity to use the computer and practice their English skills using a special web-based program called Burlington English.  At IAC & OAC, students can drop in the computer lab to get help or to learn basic computer skills after their morning classes. 
 
In addition, we also offer the following classes for ESL students:
 
    1. Distance Learning:  levels 4 through 6; Students meet with the teacher once or more a week and do their work at their convenient time.
    2. Conversation Classes:  levels 4 through 6;  Face-to-face & Online via Zoom.
    3. Writing Class: levels 4 through 6.
    4. Introduction to Microsoft Office (Word and Excel); levels 3/4 through 6.
      • At Independence Adult Center, Wednesday & Thursday, 6-9:10 pm.
    5. Introduction to Accounting & Bookkeeping; levels 3/4 through 6.
      • At Independence Adult Center, Tuesday & Wednesday, 6-9:10 pm.
    6. ESL for the workplace & Career Exploration; levels 3/4 through 6.

El programa ofrece más de 50 clases en English.Levels son: principiante, intermedio y avanzado. Los nuevos estudiantes pueden inscribirse en cualquier momento durante el año escolar. Lớp học Anh văn miên cho mọi trình độ.  Chương trình có khoảng hơn 50 lớp đang được giảng dạy.  Lớp học gồm các trình độ:  Vỡ lòng cấp 1, Vỡ lòng cấp 2, Trung bình thấp, Trung bình cao, và trình độ cao cấp.Quị vị sẽ được thâu nhận quanh năm.  Học viện mới có thể gọi hoặc đến các địa điểm mà học viện muốn tham dự lớp học để biết thêm chi tiết và đăng ký thi xếp lớp.
