Distance Learning GED Test Preparation

This class is designed for those students who do not have the ability to attend a physical class environment, on a regular basis, due to work schedule, family obligations, or health issues. The student works at his/her own pace with the guidance of an online Instructor.

To get your GED certification, you will need to pass four tests with a score no lower than 145 points for each subject.

Getting Started:

Students will be required to take a Placement Test Monday or Thursdays at 12:30 P.M. at Conxion to Community, 749 Story Road, San Jose, CA 95122 (link MAP and http://conxion.org ) Please call (408) 213-0961 Ext. 32 to setup an appointment.

Once accepted into the GED Distance Learning Program, students are required to come into class at Conxion for a GED Distance Learning Orientation.  Students will complete all registration forms. Instructor will then invite student into the virtual classroom, and training will take place, that day, on classroom.google

Once registered in class, instructor will set up an account for you on the AZTEC Software Application. This is an online study tool which will guide and provide you with Pretests and Practice tests, drills, learning objectives and Post tests. Your instructor will oversee your lessons and contribute to the enhancement of those areas that require more practice. Once you have completed your official testing, you will no longer have access to the AZTEC program.

Students will be required to “check in” once/week at Conxion.  If you want to come in more often to study, feel free to do so. Set up an appointment with the instructor for tutoring sessions.

Class is Free!

Official Testing fees are explained in Classroom.Google.

A BIG PLUS…If you are 18-24 years old, your entire GED test is paid in full as you are eligible for our “Youth” program under our partnership with Conxion to Community. Please contact the instructor for more information.
